The Galway Hooker

Scarborough, Australia
Status: Built
Role: Interior design and spatial concept

Project description

Interior concept for an Irish pub inspired by the Galway Hooker, a traditional Irish fishing boat.
The theme was translated into spatial elements, including sail-like entrance coverings, nautical references, and the integration of an actual boat adapted as a display and seating feature.

The design focused on zoning, circulation, and creating a strong central bar presence within a lively social environment.
